The difference between McCain and Obama is McCain got his bracelet on Veterans Day 2007 in Boscawen, NH and maintains a relationship with the family to this day. He even invited them to his nomination. I know this because that fallen soldier was one of my best friends; he died in Iraq. McCain won't let my friend die in vain because my friend's mother asked him not to.
Obama can't say the same because he's simply exploiting a soldier's death for political gain. People like Obama make me sick.

I'm part Kurdish and many of us are very happy with the down fall of evil Saddam and the Batth party in Iraq. Saddam killed so many Kurdish people and many other people at least 2 million in hardly publicized mass graves. Thank you USA and the coalition of the willing non-cowards.

Obama said that "no US soldier ever dies in vain because they are carrying out the missions of their commander in chief." He is right about that? As long as you are following orders you can die in combat and it isn't in vain? Yeah, I am a combat veteran and I can tell you that is ignorant nonsense from a fool who doesn't have a clue what he is talking about. Obama is a simpleton who as able to say any stupid thing and have people like you lap it up. Do you believe whatever dumb thing he says?

Wrong. Respect for the military is to refrain from unnecessarily risking their lives. McCain brought up the point as a political tactic, but Obama did not allow McCain to equate staying in Iraq with honoring the soldiers.
Ending this war will keep mothers like Ryan Jopek's (his mother, by the way, was "ecstatic" at the mention in the debate, and thought it to be appropriate...see the AP article) from having to experience the same pain.
May our soldiers come home safely and soon!

Nonsense. I served as a rifleman and a paratrooper for more than a decade and being kept safe was not my job. I was a soldier and a warrior and keeping my mommy happy was not the job of my command. I am now the father of a US Army Ranger who has made three tours in Iraq and one in Afghanistan. He knew what he was doing when he enlisted. I get so sick of pukes like you and Obama portraying soldiers as children in need of protection by the political class. You are childish, not us.
