Blind detoxing on methadone

Update: we can now have blind detox at our clinic but now my beef is you have to wake 2 whole yrs to get your takehomes where you only go 1 time a week and its killing my pockets with gas having to go 3 days a week. Help any suggestions I have another yr before I can get them because of a mistake of me taking a script of robutussin w/codeine and I dropped dirty for that because they failed to put my script in the book. I hate my clinic I feel my dr. is other out for the money and doesnt "really" care about his patients.

Hello Its great your on a path of sobriety. Im from Boston, MA. Ive been an (A+) client. Ive been on since 2-9-05 almost 5 yrs. I could have 14 take homes right now but I only have three. They came up w/ a new rule that if you are subscribed Benzodiazapines you can get any more take homes. I live 25 min to the closest clinic. IT SUCKS but thats life. Worrying about take homes should be one of the last things on your "recovery list" especially the first 2 yrs. Hope it works!

oh i know where u cominfrom it seems as if they make the rules up as they go! I will have 5 yrstoo in march 2010 so we startd about the same time. I still go 3 days a wk too it sucks. Im in michigan sounds like our states rules are the same! I dont take benzo's but girl just died from mixin thm and drinkin too much and poppn 2 many she was a twin too it was sad. ok good luck 2 u too.
