Third solo stage performance. Inspired (loosely!) by dabke style dancing. The song is a political piece by Fares Karam, called Al Gherbeh. He sings about having to leave home and missing family and friends due to political problems and poverty. I wanted the dance to demonstrate some of the pain and anger portrayed in the song, which is why I look so miserable for most of it...
