That's an interesting comment. Lots of blood and toil all over our nation, with no formal recognition. If you care to share, I'd like to know your family name -- Maybe they are in the Bob Power's books?

Kool.... Know Uffert (Tank Park) quite well.
In fact my family owned all that land in the 1800's. They also started the first school district in the "Hot Springs Valley"..... With their OWN money
But nothing was ever named or set aside in history for them.
Just hard working people passed over by the imports of the valley.....

I know that area well. My folks use to live in Sand Canyon. I remember a lot of the places you shown. Very cool.
