I'm not such a fan of Jazz basses, more of a P-bass guy myself.. but this bass, I'd probably give away half my house for one like it =D

Your amp tells you what notes you're playing. that's epic.

Bass face for the win !

Simple notes, groove which is off the hook.

Just wondering, I am pretty new to bass and I was looking at different videos. Where he rests his right thumb. He puts it on the E string. I usually play with my thumb on resting on the pick up. I was wondering if there is any difference? (Apart from being able to mute the E string I guess?)

MarloweDK, thx for great lessons.
That's an awesome bass (you said 1963 right?)
If you don't mind my asking...
How many Vintage Fender Jazz have you owned & kept?
What year is the Red Jazz bass you play on E pentatonic groove?
I've never owned a pre-CBS but my childish guess is 1964 would be the best, haha (let me know)
These are some real exciting basslines, thank you again.

@coolcoreancat I only have 2 vintage fender jazz basses, the 63 and the red 71. I did have a battered 78 at some point but swapped for something else
