Here is a quick demo of some of the optional sounds for the Korg DDD-1. There are some Latin percussion sounds as well as synth bass and electronic drums. The sound cards used are Latin 1, Latin 2, Latin 4, E Drums 1, E Drums 2, and Variation 3 (Bass). Enjoy!
i can get one for 40 bucks... but idk if it comes with sounds or do i have to buy card..

@lvrsnvy It comes with quite a few sounds so you don't need any extra sound cards.
For $40 it is definitely worth picking up.

I presume this is pre-midi?
If not.. can you use it to control/play a rack synth?

@SONGSTICKS This machine has MIDI in, out, and thru. I have controlled other synths with it and vice versa. The note on and off events happen very quickly so sometimes that gives some unexpected resultes when controlling other synths with non-drum sounds.
I did a song where the DDD-1 controlled an Alesis QS 7.1 with the "Silvertone" guitar preset. Not trying to shamelessly promote myself but you can hear it on "Toward a Midnight" at Myspace DOT com SLASH cumulusnoise
