Professor Paul Reiter, an expert on insect-borne diseases explains that mosquitoes historically have been able to survive in areas as cold as the Arctic, and the most devastating outbreak of malaria occurred in the soviet Union in the 1920.

remember that this is from the documentary 'The Great Global Warming Swindle' and last for over an hour. Just in case you haven't seen all:) it's quite interesting.

The general fact is that its the Sun that controls the temperature and not carbon dioxide. In fact carbon dioxide changes because of the temperature and not humans.
