The brass in the left channel at 2:13 came out of nowhere and scared the shit out of me.

Recorded on May 6, 1959 (using a Ralph Burns arrangement), and originally featured on the Atlantic album, "The Genius of Ray Charles". Ray used a similar arrangement for "Georgia on My Mind", three years later.

@Zipemova1 It's music, just not good music.

Makes me think of The King of Comedy (1983) starring Robert DeNiro and Jerry Lewis ♥

My inspiration I really love him as a musician . True icon and most respected singer of all times. Rest in peace Ray Charles .

How dare they put an Adam Lambert ad on a Ray Charles video! Or an AD at all on a Ray Charles video... I want the 2006 Youtube back.

respect. but i like bb king/eric clapton version. :)
People complain that today's music isn't really music...well, I think it is, it just has very little joy in it. A lot of today's young singers sound as if they need to be on a heavy dose of vitamins or some kind of mood enhancer, and others on some sort of psychotic drug

Genius. He used to all his own production, and when they asked why, he said 'cos if it don't work, there's no one else to blame'. What a guy.
