LYRICS:

Feeling tired
By the fire
The long day is over

The wind is gone
Asleep at dawn
The embers burn on

With no reprise
The sun will rise
The long day is over

  • Gorgeous job. And I don't give out compliments easily!

  • you're a hell of a talent -

  • That also lessens the impact of repeats at letters A, B, etc., as well as da capos, d.c.al segnos, etc.

Oddly enough, it is easier to learn and memorize entire pieces when the entire song's vista is placed in front of you.

Again, I like your work very much, however verbose I am.

    -- J Carella

  • Therefore, in the past, you went upstage or downstage in performance to control the mix of what the audience heard. [Literally, one performer was upstaged by another.]

    Tape: another musician's secret.

Where sheet music is bound together, carefully tear it away from it's binding; re-taping it together so that it is related to an accordion bellows, so that pages 1, 2, 3, 4, etc., can be placed on top of the piano fully opened, negating page turning in performance.

  • Loved it. Excellent !! What do you use to record the audio? The resonance of the piano sometimes overwhelms the subtle nuances of your vocal performance. [The piano should be accompanying you.] It should be perpendicular to the wall, or ideally, diagonally facing outward in the corner.

Right angles are NOT the friend of the acoustic musician. [Think: "concert band shells; amphitheater stages" As many right angles as possible near the source of the sound are negated.]

  • lovely :)

    Great work my friend ,

  • Wow. I really love Norah, and I love this song very much, but you sing it in such a way and with that voice, that beautiful voice that I would prefer listening to you instead :)

  • Serenely beautiful.

  • Very sweet! :)
