This song is about someone I have recently met. This person changed my perspective on life and made me evaluate my life in many ways I would have never thought, and the result has been life changing. We met about 3 weeks ago and after we had to say goodbye (beginning of the song) a very bittersweet feeling came over me. We continue to talk, though we live thousands of miles away. We have great conversations and a lot of fun but it is only when I hang the phone up is when I relies how far we actually are from each other (end of the song). Recently, this person and the things this individual has taught me has changed my life. "Behind My Smile".

dude, I swear everytime I hear your music, yes your music not just the beats, I get chills sent all the way up my spine. I love your beats too and you can feel a lot of soul and passion towards your music, but when you come out with one of your originals (now that I think about it, yes it's your 100% originals that gives me chills) I don't know how to explain it but when the music is playing it's like I follow the story, then when the songs over I just feel empty.
