  • He says true words.. the rest of the candidates run for publicity and try to put him down because they know that the power of people is well above the power of money and as Obama has said in his other speeches was only compliments to the other candidates and I think he is right in every way. I live in the United Kingdom and yet I wish that he was the president here as a lot of work needs to be done.. around the whole world with the power of the people.

  • "You go into these small towns in Pennsylvania and... it's not surprising then they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren't like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations."

  • Thank You.

I hope many are intelligent enough to comprehend what you are explaining.

    God Bless American Minds.

    Amen

  • OBAMA 08

  • When the gov first started Social Security the payout ages were set so that few people would live to collect on them based on life expectancy tables. They kept adjusting them to up the ages. They had an excess of funds that they loaned to other gov agencies never repaid. Or mismanaged the funds.

  • Obama rocks, and he attracts intelligent young and old people to the cause for change, and to step up and take action. He's the man.

  • Just a reminder... "Boomers" also pay and have paid, as has almost every working person, into Social Security since the 1930's... It's not just "us" (youth) paying for "them" (seniors). That comes across as divisive, Us-vs-Them talk.

  • Smart? He doesnt seem to understand the evil that is the payroll tax. He is advocating theft. Turning Jefferson's libertarianism into marxism is not something I would consider smart.

  • I see you don't want to dicuss the issues, as you haven't posted any comment that are not your view. That is sad as you portray yourself as a student and yet you won't engage in usefull discussions.

  • Please discuss Obamas views on the issues and also personal views so us trpical white, small town, hard working middle class Americans can figure out what he stands for besides the word change. Change can be bad as in high taxes, inflation, and capital gain taxes raised. When you get older and you will, if you decide to downsize your home you will give 28% of the gain to the Gov. not your retirement. These are just a few of the problems with Obama. He doesn't realize how his ideas hurt Americans.
