Contrary to popular opinion, Spain did not conquer all the empire when Cortes conquered Tenochtitlan in 1521. It would take another two centuries after the Siege of Tenochtitlan before the Conquest of the Aztec Empire would be complete, as rebellions, attacks, and wars continued against the Spanish by other native peoples.

I totally agree Steph. They should turn ANYONE in with a bad social security number. It is called "IDENTITY THEFT" and since when did employers NOT have the right to prescreen their potential employees. Isn't that called a "Background Check?" I mean seriously, who would have thought that an employer wouldn't want a criminal working for them? (yeah that is just a LITTLE of my sarcasm)

Steph you have points that are logical. But the world is not that black and white.

You refer to immigrant like they are coming to do harm, when they just want jobs, prosperity, like anyone else. And you can't accurately imagine the difficulty these people embrace, risking their lives, to be here and work for you. Ignoring the problem or closing the borders wont work. My family came to the US legally, but "technically" was illegal in certain moments. Yet they are both doctors, not criminals.

Everyone commenting here has no idea the dangers immigrants endure to become Americans. And to come and work at McDonald's? It is not "emotion" to acknowledge hardship. My family, came here legally, but in moments they where "by law" illegal. They are doctors, both in our country, and now in America.
