200 foot test on First Strike Paintballs. 16 rounds in 2 days of good weather. I did not think the rounds lived up to the hype. We had one bounce off the target and not break. We hit 3 out of 4 shots fired at 200 feet, but did not feel that we would take a 200 foot shot in a game. There was over 5 feet of drop at 200 feet. On our testing we found that the rounds started to dramatically drop off after 180 feet. The rounds extend the fighting range another 30 to 50 feet, the cost combined with the time to load outweigh the advantages they bring to the field. On the first hit in the video, 2.5 days later the bruise is still there and about 5 inches across. We used a chrono on every shot. None broke 297 fps, also the lowest reading was 285.
This is our findings and opinions, go buy some First Strike Rounds and form your own opinions.

I'm not sure what's wrong with the gun you were using.. but I barrel-loaded a few into my alpha black (stock barrel) and found amazing range and accuracy.. something just isn't working with the setup you used.
