In this video clip I'm going to share a push up routine that I like to do at the end of my chest workouts.
After I'm finished all my weight training exercises for the chest I like to perform 100 total push ups.
The way I usually do these is on the first set I'll do as many push ups as I can perform with good form, usually around 50 push ups in a row.
Then I'll rest a couple minutes and perform another set of push ups.
On the second set I'll usually get anywhere between 25-30 push ups before reaching muscular failure.
Then I'll rest a couple minutes and perform another set of push ups.
Usually getting between 20-25 reps to make up 100 total push ups.
You can try this push up routine in after your own chest workouts.
Just perform as many push ups as you can with good form, rest a couple minutes, perform another set of as many push ups as you can, and keep repeating until you've done 100 total push ups.
Even if you can't get all 100 push ups at first don't worry about it,
because as your strength and work capacity increases so will the number of push ups you'll be able to perform.
