Why wouldn't you be? It's supposed to be a portable device, I don't see why you can't use that portability outside. It is after all, supposed to be the leisure tool used anywhere, correct?
Kindle is by far the best at what it does.

Ok let me say finnaly I think the iPad is fine for reading and the kindle is REALLY good at reading so yeah

@TheSkullcrusher73 I get you in theory, but I don't actually want it to do other things, that's what my other things are for! The reading is the most important thing here, and I feel ilke that is a little compromised on an ipad.

I don't want gaming on my e reader...I want books. I play games on my PC or games consols. Also, just reading is fine, I don't have a 3 second attention span like most gen y's.

you try reading a book on the iPad for hours and see if your eyes don't hurt. Oh, and iPad will be toast if you're out in the sun with it.
