well i had to do it didn't i? freinds and colleagues saying i should get onto you-tube and get my ideas down and out there for peeps 2 see, so my first serious production had to be a Klaus Nomi tribute, inspired by the 'T-Rex Sings' video, not so far from where you're reading this. I did much research on Klaus beforehand. I decided that there is already enough exposure of Klaus directly, so I made sure his voice (and his backing vocals in some places) is the main focus, adding in conflict and tension between 2 symbols from opposite sides of a persona. The lyrics on screen I felt important for many people find Klaus' accent a little hard to read, so they were hand-written, in the style of the Urrgh MW 1980 film. I really enjoyed every part of making this video, and of course listening to the soundtrack over and over. Also when editing it I had to take breaks from time, because it's a fun video after all.

Very cute video. I especially appreciated the Nomi info you provided, as well as the lyrics to "Total Eclipse," which it turns out I've been singing along to incorrectly all this time (I thought "hot as a holocaust" was "but there's a mortal cost" LOL!)

You should do more. No offence to the unicorn but the crocodile steals this film. Not to tell you how to do your job but I'd love to see the croc performing one of Klaus' arias -- "Samson & Delilah," perhaps?

This is great! I introduced my 15-year-old daughter (who is very particular about what music she likes) to Klaus Nomi and she loved him! What a remarkable talent. Clever video, too!!
