You've probably seen news reports on the lawsuits challenging the health care law across the country. Two courts of appeals have held that the health care law is constitutional, while one has disagreed. To make clear what's at stake, watch this short video explaining the legal challenges, why we think the law is constitutional, and what women could lose if the law is struck down.
isn't there provisions in this health bill that states those mandated to purchase (who are financially strapped) can get federal assistance? that would seem to neutralize the opponants argument.
of course this court won't overturn this bill, it's everything the insurance companies ever wanted.
we need single payer, as much as this bill has positives, it is now mandating tax payer money to the very people we are tyring to regulate. it is a disaster that does nothing to curb costs.
