So it can be any form of help because he wasn't specific. I mean from not alienating yourself from your group of people to speaking on it. I don't know, but he just felt like they don't look with concern just as much as other educated or well to do people dont look with concern.

I think the point of the phd lyric was to say that a lot of black people who get educated turn a blind eye to the problems of the black americans and forget to help or be more helpful. I don't feel that it was a diss on education or educated black people as far as them being educated. more like yo, after you get educated, why don't you help fix where you probably came from?. they can do more to help from their position then a person who didn't make it could. just a thought..
