3rd take! The first take there was no sound. The 2nd time i was previewing it and hit the esp\c key and that erased it! So now im just telling you what i did instead of showing you. I already made 2 batches did not want to make a 3rd!

So here is what I did

1 cup borax
1 cup washing soda
6-7 oz of handmade soap with no lye discount

I grated the soap then put it in the food processor with the s blade and add the borax and washing powder blended untll it resembled washing powder.

at this point you can add essential oil or fragrance oil!

I just stored it i n a plastic baggie until i get a container thats easy to carry around!

Thats it its that easy!\

I love homemade laundry soap..soo much better than regular detergent..

  • @wahinepaddler4 Ok thanks. I really so like it too except Im needing to make a odor/stain remover because somethings i find it had to get them out!

  • I been thinking about a homemade fabric softner too, I was wondering if we squirt squirt squirt, the fabric softner onto a natural sponge and toss it into the dryer what would happen? Did you ever make anything to try yet?

  • @Oreocremerocks You know I haved not thought of that! Good idea! I did not make it too my sisters today so i did not get to try te soap so ima give the hair conditioner and water a try!

  • @shellbyrd1 you can buy washing soda online too, I know Glory Bee has it, Im sure there are others, just check Natural food and products online stores. Hope that helps.

  • @amberrascona you can PM me and let me know where i can send it.

  • @shellbyrd1 That would be great I saw another comment about Ace hardware, I have one of those and did not check there yet, I could'nt stand it though I threw together a batch today with some lightly lemon scented soap I made that did not come out so pretty anyway I did three loads and everything was super clean and soft. It will save me tons of money!! Thanks again for this video, looking forward to more of your soap videos, too!!

  • @amberrascona Hi, you can use oxyclean, sun oxygen cleaner, or get some PH increaser for a pool (sodium carbonate)... The vinegar also helps to rinse the soap out of your clothes.

  • @amberrascona I was reading that you may need to adjust how much you use of baking soda because it can cause fading! So if you like I will send you enough powder to make you 2 batches if nyou would like! just let me know!

  • @brownbutterflie That Is also what I heard but they said that you may need to adjust the amount of washing powder! si ima wash my raggy clothes first n see if I will need to adjust! Ya I can agree that you cant find washing powder every where!
