N95 8GB multitasking

nokia n95 at the s60 LA event. demoing multitasking possiblities.
as you can see i was able to run 10 applications and still take pictures and video without the device giving any "out of memory" errors.
the big improvement over the previous version is the inclusion of 128MB of RAM of which ~90MB is available to the user. For comparison, the older version had 64MB of RAM of which only ~20MB was available to the user. That is a quadruple increase and then some.
This test was also performed on the North American N95 with the same results since that version also has the same amount of RAM.

if you meant the multimedia menu just press the multimedia key. thatz the one on the right of the d-pad

o that is the menu to show what programs are running. you press and hold the menu key for like 2 or 3 seconds.

they are the same maybe only the dictionary is different. besides the international versions usually get firmware updates before US.

I have had the Nokia N95 8GB for a few years now and after comparing the original i-phone's specification to the N95 8GB I chose the N95 8GB.

thats just the active standby setting.. you must have it turned off.. just go to settings-display-my active standby and turn that on.. that should do the trick for you :)
