This is footage from the public forum on October 1st in front of the st. petersburg city council. At issue was whether or not the city would give a public sidewalk to baywalk's owners so that they could stop people from demonstrating.. community activists argue that stopping people from holding a sign on a sidewalk violates their free speech rights. while people from the business community argue that protesters make baywalk patrons feel uncomfortable and are bad for business.

Anyone who supports this travesty is more concerned with revenue than rights. Sounds rather idiotic doesn't it?
