SHEIKH HARON, A MAN OF PEACE, SO HE SAYS!

Sydney's self styled outspoken Muslim Cleric Sheikh Haron chained himself to the steps in protest outside the Sydney court in where he stands accused of sending hate mail to the families of Australian soldiers killed in Afghanistan.

He has vowed to fight the charge of 'using the postal service to menace harass or cause offence' and says he is a man of peace who has been misinterpreted.

Then instead of expressing arrogance, perhaps it's time you encouraged Muslims to react to criticism more productively by seriously addressing the issues that make Islam currently the West's most despised religion. If you feel there is so much "anti Muslim thinking," do something about it..!!!

On the contrary I dont think australianproud is a staunch muslim hater, but I do not blame people for hating muslims. It isn't unfounded. Muslims have alot to answer for and have done alot of shit. True the hate goes irrational, but obviously this sheikh is a radical and is sending out wrong messages. He even said it is ok to rape your wife. Come on man, u can have your beliefs but stand up against injustice

User Siyooshan may be a Muslim hater, but he hasn't actually said anything whatsoever against Muslims. He has directed his comment to this particular Muslim and others with a similar attitude. In fact user Siyooshan is likely to even be a Muslim himself who has just expressed his frustration with fundamentalists and "trouble makers." So perhaps it's you who needs to "open your damn eyes" and think before you put your foot in your own mouth..

And what crimes are they? .If you dont like Rudd well use the democratic system in Australia and vote against him.Dont try to divert attention from the disgusting actions of this so-called church leader. If Islam is a religion of peace and compassion then this man should not be a leader of his faith. But no, hes still spouting his intolerance and predjudice.
