Fashion models make it look so effortless, but strutting your stuff in 4-inch heels is no easy feat. Models walk in different ways, and the style of walking will depend on the clothes being modelled and the general tone of the show. However, these are some general tips on walking like a catwalk model. When learning these techniques, make sure you're wearing comfortable clothes and have a long enough room to stride up and down in.

  • @littlemisscheer12 most models on runway are required to be at LEAST 5'8" but if your still growing...

  • @littlemisscheer12 You might grow, but generally models are pretty tall, but that doesn't mean there's no hope! You could always do print, or catalogue. :)

  • Do is 5'3" too short to be a model if I'm only 13..?

  • Her arms are too stiff...

  • rice field path is the best place to learn catwalk,, :D

  • Thanx very useful

  • @doodlezrockz yes, generally agencies and scouts only look for 5'7 and above. However, if you have a particularly striking face you may be considered for other types of modeling excluding runway :)

  • Booked a runway show for London Fashion Week next week and can't seem to perfect my walk yet!
