The Christmas season offers some of the best Christmas holiday-themed movies to watch with friends and family. From timeless classics like "It's a Wonderful Life," "White Chirstmas" and "Miracle on 34th Street" to more modern classics like a "A Christmas Story," Christmas movies aren't just for children. There are plenty of fun Christmas-themed movies that teens and adults can enjoy.

If you're looking for Christmas-themed movies to tickle your funny bone, why not check out National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation? This 1989 Christmas movie features the Griswold family trying, very hard, to enjoy a nice holiday with their colorful, dysfunctional, extended family.

Another Christmas comedy is Elf, starring Will Ferrell. In Elf, Ferrell plays an orphan raised by Santa and his elves. He travels to the U.S. to try and find his real family.

For a more modern take on the classic A Christmas Carol, Scrooged might be a good fit. Bill Murray stars in this Christmas comedy as a cynical TV executive who receives visits from ghosts of his past, present and future.

If you want a more grown-up Christmas-themed movie, with a bit of an edge, "Bad Santa" might be an option. Billy Bob Thornton stars in this twisted tale of a conman who poses as Santa to rob stores during Christmas.

If you're looking to hit the theater for Christmas this year, you've got some options as well. "Little Fockers" hits theaters on December 22, 2010. If you want a darker take on Christmas, "Rare Exports: A Christmas Tale" might suit your fancy. This black comedy from Finland follows a group of archaeologists who discover the real Santa Claus on Christmas Eve. Santa, however, turns out to be anything but holly and jolly. "Rare Exports" is currently playing in limited release -so check your local movie listings before you head to the theater.
