I play this 20 different ways. Modulus FB4, Lane Poor pickup, Genz Benz Shuttle 6.0. Wild Cherry Play that Funky Music. As far as I am concerned, this song is outstanding, and has a great guitar solo. Great vocals also.

im a beginer bass playher, i play in the orchestra at skool and last year i played cello, so i switched to bass,and i was wondering if anybody had any tips on anything about the bass, i have a fender squier.. please help

learn scales.. and songs.. and play in time.. you're already ahead of most, having played cello.. I would say run scales and know always what key you're in.. then learn songs.

tough call.. they are all great basses.. I think a Fender Jazz (USA made only) will hold its value longer..

I am not sure Modulus has such a bass.. they stopped making this bass anyway.. best to you

Actually they did not stop making this bass they just repackaged it as the Funk Unlimited. Before it was the Flea Bass though it was called the Modulus Sonic Hammer.

Hi, i suggest that you learn scales, and with these scales, play little patterns on them ex: mary had a little lamb.

For songs, I suggest that you slow it down with any parts you can't make, then you will be all good to speed it up after a short bit. Also, learn songs that you enjoy playing and are a bit of a challenge, otherwise, you wont be gettin any better in a rush.

Iv'e been playing for three years and I'm only 14, but this is the way i got so good at bass playing.

@thebashbrothers2 one of the things that i found hard to get good at was playing the note evanly (with your fingers) just keep working on that and DONT USE A PICK!!! haha

Very simple tip, use a pick I will hunt you down lol, I'm jk, but bass isent all that hard, I've been at is for 3 years now ^^
