It's not fake, its VBS 2. Many armies (such as US Army, UK army) are using it. Try to Google it out. You'll find out that it's 100% real.

Crysis engine does half of thigns better but next half worse. Rope engine works but there is no dynamic damage model on objects.

One question, has the VBS2 realistic dynamics, as seen here we have a object carried by a helo. Has the object and the helo realistic dynamics?
At least the rope is I guess as shown in the video.
