Elliott & Jose are joined by Avi, yet again, to talk about current issues in comics! The trio start off by taking a look at BATMAN & ROBIN #10 by Grant Morrison and Andy Clarke. What did they like? What did they not like? And who the heck is Oberon Sexton? Also be sure to check out the conversations going on over at the CCW*TV BLOG! http://comicculturewarrior.wordpress.com

Enjoyed this book quite a bit. A little lacking on the art, I thought. And Oberon Sexton...hmm...i still don't know what to make of this guy...oh well. Only time will tell I guess.

i think Jeph Loeb would've done much worse than Miller's (terrible) All-Star run.

Few corrections meant to say the Joker, and that's about it. Tony Daniel still sucks and long live Grant Morrison's Batman and Robin series. Do you think that All-Star Batman and Robin would have been better if Jeph Loeb wrote it as rumored and cause him to go into hiding and not Frank Miller. Either way these are two writers, along with a few others who are suffering from a case of being to clever for their own good or not clever enough.

I can't wrap my head around the idea that DC is rewarding Tony Daniel's insufferable mediocrity by allowing him to continue writing and drawing what is arguably their biggest book.
I have yet to find anyone who is actually, really enjoying his run. I think most folks are just holding out until Batman #700. I predict a steady decline in sales after 700.

The book sells so there's no reason for DC to pull Daniel off the book. In fact, I've heard his run on Batman referred to as 'acclaimed' so you know he's being perceived as successful outside of DC as well.
