Although you can't expect an 80 year old voice to maintain all of the bloom it had at age 20, the age of her first recordings, I find her voice still amazingly beautiful and moving. She is now in her 100th year, and as of October 2011 still up and about, enjoying life to its fullest! God bless you, dear, dear Marta.

Martha Eggerth gehört zu den Künstlern wo es wirklich stimmt wenn über sie sagt : So etwas gibts es nur einmal und ist unverwechselbar.!! Mit ihrer Kunst und ihrem Spiel begeisterte sie ganze Generationen.Ihr Talent und ihre Ehrlichkeit machte sie schon zu Lebzeiten unsterblich.
