This video is aimed at BroncoMail users. However, any email that supports IMAP or POP will work in this video. If you use a google apps email (many universities do), you will be able to use this too. Just substitute your information.

Mozilla Thunderbird is an email program made by Mozilla, makers of the popular web browser Firefox. In this video, I'll show you how to set up Mozilla Thunderbird, an email client that puts all of your email's into one program.
Why would you need this? Because putting all your email addresses into one box is really nice, and filtering is nice as well, and if you use Gmail, Thunderbird is a dream. In the next video, I'll show you how to use Thunderbird, but this video shows how to set it up for hotmail and gmail/google apps email.
FYI, Yahoo mail sucks, and you have to pay to be able to use this feature when almost every other email provider now does this in one way or another, for free, although gmail's is still the best.

  • How can you make the font in the message list column larger?

  • @sixstringsixshooter I am not quite sure. You might want to look into that in a search. I am sure it is possible. I know you can enlarge the message text, so it would seem that you can enlarge the list as well. You might need to use an add-on.
