I decided, well, peer pressure forced me (yes Thomas I am referring to you) to get my hair cut so I thought it'd be a good opportunity to get it lightened.

Growing up my hair was always fair until I got passed about 8 years old. It still gets blonder in the sun but it was time for a kick start.

I went to a salon in Bath called Artizan. They did the hair that you'll see in the fashion show video you'll see in my YouTube channel.

After an hour or so of bleaching, washing and cutting I was once again back in blonde.

  • Well done. Great cut, much more interesting look for you. I'd pay 82 quid to have my hair done in 1:15 min :-)

  • @TheFragrantMuse They made me tea and gave me a head massage, so on balance I think it was worth it. But not something I could afford to often! Thanks for commenting :)

  • you went from looking like a massive dweeb to a babe. its bitter sweet coz although you look better, you cant help but think, " iv just given into what society want me to look like",

oh well, who cares, i got over that when i went blond but then again... i am a girl.

    you look way better.

  • @xxSxBxx Thanks :D

  • You look fantastic! Great look. I have been thinking of going blonde and this has inspired me. How did they achieve this look as I so like the various tones of blonde in your hair. Was it done all with foils? Or did they lighten the whole head and then do foils?

  • @buzzdeclan Thanks! They painted sections, almost like a streak of hair at a time, with the bleaching compound and foil-wrapped it. The result was that some of the hair was lighter, the rest was natural. Which also helps when it comes time to grow it out, there's less of a tide line where the bleach was.

  • @antzero Thanks so much as I really like the end result. Very natural! I had it don once and it was all over bleach and it looked fake. I will ask around about your method. Thanks again!
