In August 2006, the reality of war hit very close to home in our small baptist congregation in Surprise, Arizona. Marc Alan Lee, son of Debbie Lee, became the first Navy Seal to lose his life in the Iraq War. This video was produced to remember this hero, pay our respects to him and all our soldiers, and to enable his mother, Debbie Lee (Gold Start Mom), to share her incredible testimony, her deep faith in God, and her support for our men and women that wear the uniform of the Armed Forces of the United States of America.

Note: This version is the long version we played during our church service this morning. It has about 4-5 minutes of a flag waving at the end. See the other post for the shorter version without the flag.

  • Your son is still in our hearts and he will live on threw our actions and how we live for such an amazing man. I myself was in the us navy and my occupation was a job of honour for me. I am so sorry that such an amazing son and soldier had to depart this world early but asked only one time to me by my family of brothers if i could die doing just one thing what would it be and I answered them that there would be no better honour than to give my own life so they could live your son is my hero

  • You raised that Man right!

  • marc wasnt killed he was promoted to protect heaven!

R.I.P marc you are a true hero!

  • i wanted to be a seal for years, but when this guys mom and one of his friends (seal) tried to take away my right to hold up a sign, just cuz they didnt agree with it, i lost all respect for them. they are nazis

  • fuck you for disliking this video! i'm not in the military but i respect everyone that is. love you man, your in heaven above

  • @thegamerstud Thanks for that! I would never have any assosiation with anybody who had any affiliation with drugs, gangs, etc. the navy is and always will be my life. I'm proud of my country's service man and women who keep us safe at night. god bless them all.

  • @SloppySardine HOOYAH SEA CADET!!! Its for the kids who care about they're future and think about it alot. While the rest 90% kids dont give a damn and rather go in gangs, drink, get high, get lots of girl friends or boy friends and dont care what people think of them. Stay in the program and stay away from people like that.

  • @HeroesMother You know marcus lutterel?! tell him thanks for me! I'm in seacadets and plan to train for SEALs or EOD.

  • Rest in Peace, young Warrior. You serve the Lord now. God Bless you, your Family and all those who knew this fine young man.
