The New Manna Youth Choir sings "The Blood is Still There" at the 1995 NMBC Camp Meeting.

LYRICS

V1
One dark night while down in Egypt, a fearful time had come
For a young Hebrew boy who was his father's firstborn son
The angel of death soon would be passing, and it was hard to fall asleep
Still one little lamb stuck in his mind as he laid there counting sheep

V2
He thought "Why did the young lamb have to die? Why his blood was on the door?
Through the wind and rain would it still remain?" He wanted to be sure
So he cried out to his father with a trembling voice so scared
Crying "Father, please will you look and see if the blood is still there?"

CHORUS
He said, "Son, now don't you worry, for the blood is there to stay
The rains may come and the winds may blow, but it just won't wash away
The blood will stand the raging storm, it's been applied with loving care
Safe, secure, you can rest assured that the blood is still there"

V3
Looking out over all the damage the storms had left behind
Floods of endless questions and doubts had filled my mind.
The fear that gripped my troubled soul brought me to my knees in prayer
Crying "Father, please will you look and see if the blood is still there?"

This song is available on the CD "He's Still on the Throne".
