people dont wash the cats, they will lick them selves or go into bath by them selves. But some trained cats will let you to take them to bath.

Introduce the cat to water just wet them on the paw a little until they become used to it. Do not fill the bath up too high as this will make them feel unsecure. On the first time bathe them gently!

we wash our cat in the sink comes out clean

lol my cat would sit on the side while im taking a bath and (since cat are curious) she dips her paw in a bit then just yanks it out. i also like to take her tale and hold it in the water.
