@kalex32 nobody in england thinks she tries to speak british, coz they so understand that she was living in Britain for almost 10 years, it's like when Meryl Streep nowdays soesn''t speak Jersey also.... @Goldie4tv I stand corrected it was indeed Carl Bean, not Sylvester, my mistake. As for the rest of my comment, I stand by it replacing Sylvester with Carl Bean's song "I was Born This Way". I reiterate Madonna's express yourself music is very similar to Beans song, especially the chorus. Listen, she copied other artist's style as well and put a twist on it, it's what artist's often do and it worked well for her. I'm not going to like her but I won't knock her success.

@mary0g Excellent point. I first saw Gaga play the piano and sing at Cherry Tree Records online website when I was listening to a singer from Sweden, Robyn, she's amazing as well. Gaga wasn't out big yet over here in the states and I thought wow this kid (I'm 43) can really sing. This was a few years ago but the video may still be up. But I too grew up dancing to Madonna and also think, as an entertainer she was great, in the 80's and 90's.
