ive had the ecg one but was told that after looking at the results from that i didnt need the other.

I think everyone should have an ECG and an Echo, especially athletes. With the rate of footballers and sportsmen dying suddenly at such a young age, I'm surprised such tests aren't a necessity before they can actually be allowed play. I've had both tests doen and even a 24hour holter monitor to make sure that I'm not at risk. All the tests are noninvasive and very simple. I urge people to have these tests carried out.
