  • can anyone tell me how many sounds the m3 has onboard with no computer needed?

  • i want me 1

  • I like Korg strings over Yamaha, they do hav a nice warm full Piano on the Motiff, but the extendee stereo piano is right there to

  • I believe that justnloke the eye can only see 20 levels of gray not thousands, so it is with being able to percieve differences from enhanced and high definition

  • I am definitely getting this keyboard. If anyone oppose this decision please convince me other wise!

  • @majomanak Yamaha strings are just as strong and less synthetic.

  • He says the M3 have the same sound engine (EDS) as the OASYS.

But as far as I know, it isn't the same.

What I read was: M3 have EDS - Enhanced Definition Synthesis (24-bit processing) OASYS have HDS - High Definition Synthesis (32-bit floating point processing)

And there is a big difference between them, when it comes to applying a lot of effects and calculations over the same sound sample.

    Am I wrong?

  • @griffinavid Yeah, because the audio quality is what I thought about when I heard he played the piano sound. You are forgiven don't worry, lol...

  • Yes, there are some good sounds here, but I feel my sanity fading everytime I search for answers regarding customising KARMA of presets in my M3 without success. For instance, I want to turn a KARMA module off for a particular scene, so as to play it's instrument freely when switching to that scene. The user interface is so hard to understand!
