Ham radio operators Chris- J6/W6HFP, Guy J6/N7UN and Steve J6/wG0AT climb up the remains of an ancient volcano Petit Piton (St Lucia Island) in order to put this summit on the air for the first time. Using ultralight equipment (FT857d at 50-watts, Versatee vertical and A123 battery) they make contacts world-wide from their island summit on the 17-meter band
