On the contrary, I'm a genius for writing the lyrics to my spoof songs which no one ever in the course og history has ever done on YOU TUBE. You're a typical heckler who likes breaking chops.
@Flipsideou812 I used to go to those slides too!!! They were made out of concrete, so they are still there. I saw them last summer, and the summer of 2009. They havent reopened as of the lst time I was there, so who knows. I'm sure some support structures and the water features were damaged, but the slides themselves are still standing....so is the huge water umbrella thing at the top where you slide down.
My best friend and i came here 6 months after Ike to clean up the mess. I couldnt believe my eyes. It was truely heart breaking to hear about those that could not make it out in time. This experience made me want to do more relief projects. It just makes me feel so happy that im helping a community out while they are going through such a horrible time. God bless you all who made it out. and god bless those who lost their loved ones and all their belongings.
i drove through the peninsula today and wow. i was amazed at the destruction even 4 months afterwards. it was all just total carnage. god bless all who lived there. galveston is nothing compared to this.
