During the afternoon of July 13, 2009, my eleven year old, Andrew, went outside to play with a few friends and never returned home. His dad found him a short time later in a nearby field - about a block from home.

Andrew was found alone - motionless - kneeling - under a tree - with the loop of a rope swing around his neck.

HE WAS LAST SEEN ALIVE WITH A GIRL THAT REPEATEDLY BULLIED HIM.

The girl told several different stories about what supposedly happened that tragic day.
We are frustrated that the investigation of Andrew's death was handled so carelessly.
The empty field that his body was found in has been zoned as a city park for over 30 years. We are determined to transform this dreary field into a magnificent playground and picnic area for our community.
~~ THANKS! Amy Peterson ~ Andrew's mom
