@MegaAvalonn sounds like a drug dealer's life

Well the people who are stocking up on food and supplies are just reading the writing on the wall that America is already in a depression. The Govt isn't releasing the actual unemployment stats, the stock market is up on Q.E from the Fed. You have people getting trampled just to apply for job opening at McDonalds. Anyone that gets prepared for their family is intelligent.

@MegaAvalonn In severe cases where people lose their ability to funciton normally and are diagnosed with PTSD, professional therapy/treatment would be required. People don't get PTSD because they are timid or weak, it is a natural reaction to traumatizing events. The poster of this video is not talking about those.

@GraceAnnHawkins When a person is severly traumatized, there is not too much of anything which can be done about it. One cannot just wish it away. No matter how strong a person is, severe traumatic events are going to have a profound impact which may happen subconsciously. This is why so many veterans come down with PTSD and have to be medicated. Mohammed's philosophy works well for things you are ambivalent about, but not for severe trauma which may affect you biologically.

@mohammedabshaun You're absolutely right. But you mention in a previous video that our secret vocation is those special talents & dreams we had as children. Trying to make new dreams as adults that overpower lifelong childhood dreams we've worked at our WHOLE lives is . . easier said than done. How can one make his brain forget a profound visceral urge? I don't want to be defeatist, but it literally seems impossible to forget my past lifelong dreams. It's like trying to change sexual orientation

Turn your back on fear and it grows stronger, face it and it grows weaker!
What if the fear is both very real and traumatic? What if the fear involves actual real people who you must “get through” in order to succeed? And what if the fear has indeed been reoccurring and these same people, who you must go through in order to succeed, have no interest in seeing you succeed? And what if trying to conquer this fear always seems to lead to negativity? Surely there are a few cases where it’s best to sometimes lie low or go around the wall; rather than punch right through it?

Awesome video!
However how can someone deal with a very real, painful, & perhaps life-long fear in their lives?
For example, you seem to be living your dreams. I don't know you personally, but having watched many of your videos, I'd imagine you set yourself some ambitious goals, worked very hard, probably had some setbacks, but pulled through and always eventually moved forward.
But some people sadly meet some great setbacks and never have the chance to get back in the game

(part 2)
Example: Say I'm a pro hockey player who worked since he's 4 yrs old to play the big leagues. 1st season I take a hit & break my back . . . I'm a 20 year old former sports champion who worked his whole life to get to this, had his whole school, friends, family, and hometown pumping him up with glorious dreams, and now has to find a non-physical job . . . I'm sincerely afraid my dreams are shattered!

@macdaddylorenzo nope they are not shattered, you just have to create another dream because the door is shut on that one. Stop putting energy there and become something else, life is not over.

@macdaddylorenzo what makes them not come back besides themselves?
