This is mainly 'an intuition' but I have a feeling, that esp. with the American influence on the Tibetans-in-exile that after the 14thDL they will strengthen their roots in India - others will flee to the West and others will return to Tibet, accepting the leaders who preside over that location. I think it will be 50 to 100 more years before the situation is "mostly resolved".

AFTER THE DALAI LAMA PASSES AWAY A FEW YEARS LATER:
Tibetan Govt in exile will become inactive and dissolve.
No one has been trained to take over the Dalai Lama's role, because no one is allowed to be his equal as it is not a democratic system.
Tibetans with conncections/money will more and more move out of India.
The Indian govt will start forcing remaining Tibetans to be Indian citizens.
Talk of autonomy/freedom will die off.
Tibet WILL BE A PART OF CHINA IRREVOCABLY.

The Dalai lama was indifferent to the sufferings of his people when he was in power ruling Tibet. He hid in his palace and lived like a King. Tibetans have the rights to independence and self-rule, but this ex-slave master should be sent to labor camp.
