@Schleiban No, just another Titanic movie in the string of many.
-
this is old

love how they pronounce english names in a german way ;)
-
@powerpats A portent to things to come in the very near future.
And so ends Goebbels career as a would-be Cecil B. DeMille.
-
@nellgwenn And not only that but Goebbels banned the movie because it seemed unfit to have a movie about a disaster while whole germany was in ruins itself.
-
the interior is not so titanic, sinking less but I remember that in 1943 he knew little of the titanic
-
The beast part of this movie is that due to Allied bombing it never got to have it's premier with people waling on a red carpet.
-
@RodmasterStudios No the trade journal Shipbuilder's had an article in it about the Titanic talking about the safety features and touted the ship as being, practically unsinkable." The White Star Line never said the Titanic was unsinkable.

@dreadpirateroberts11 Which begs the question if the British were such idiots and evil, what was a German doing working for the White Star Line ( which we all know was American owned) and not a German cruise line? Especially at a time when Germany and England were constantly vying for supremacy of the trans-Atlantic cruise trade.
@CaseClosedEpisodes this isnt even close to fact...this is wwii propaganda used to depict germans as heroes in a tragedy, and british as idiots
