Anger and uncertainty in Iceland - 24 Apr 09

Once ranked as the fourth happiest country in the world, Iceland's prospects are now looking seriously bleak after its economy collapsed six months ago.

Icelanders aren't afraid of a spot of hard work. The problem these days, is that work is hard to come by.

Jonah Hull reports from Reykjavik.

The people on the right are not stupid, they use logic and reason, rather than emotion to make their decisions. Very much unlike the left, whose hearts bleed for so many causes that they're bleeding their respective nations dry.

The Bilderberg Group created the EU. Deal with it. It's not democratic. You might also try dealing with the fact that the influx of Islam into Europe, with it's adherence to the nuclear family and detestation of feminism, is not something I t fear, but wholly endorse!

You say that norway (small 'n' used to denote how much you have fallen and will continue to fall under socialism) has a birthrate of 1.78. A birthrate of 1.78 is of course less than a life sustaining birth rate of 2.11 i.e. necessary to just REPLACE the existing population. So what you are saying, is that Norway is dying. And I agree with you. All of Europe is dying. Some parts faster than others.

Like using Business Week as a source would do you any good. Europe is not a country, it's nothing else than a union. There are very various birthrate from country to country. Use Cia facts instead. I understand you hate Europe and you hate lefties. But you better learn to live with people on this earth with different race, culture and political system. I do not expect to see you in Iceland or in Scandinavien. Hehehe. China has a birthrate 1.79. Norway: 1.78. It has increased.
