I beat a prelude identical to that one, in my 91 SE-R...sounds like someone missed a gear.
-
Yea with all fairness it is an H22 engine in the SH preludes, so at least you lost to a respectable Honda engine.

Hahahaha. You guys are saying that a nissan spec v could outrun a prelude si or sh and also out handle it.. Thats that most bullshit ive heard on here in a while. A spec v, is a four door, compact, econo box for old people and people with kids, Ive got a 95 prelude si with no vetc (h23a). Many spec v's have tried to race me on the freeway, uphill, and on steep slaloms, And ive never lost to one. If you were to boost the nissan and put a decent tranny in it, then maybe.

Why does everyone make excuses to why a Honda won? Some cars are just faster than other cars!
-
i beat them with my ser spec v but its not stock , i got 195 hp at wheel after some mod i made . And no i dont have turbo .
-
@stevoreno you talking about the just the basic prelude because i'll beat money the sh handles better than the se-r
-
@stevoreno I'm guessing it was the normal prelude you tried. The SH could out handle the SE-R.

You are a moron. You claim that 1/4 mile times don't mean anything in a race and "its different on the streets". Seriously? Are you being serious? I hope this is some kind of joke. my prelude is a mid 14 second car, I don't know what your car runs because you don't go by numbers, you go by this magical system of god knows what where your car is faster in your fanasty world. Whatever man. Show me a timeslip or just shut the hell up
-
keep talking about power it seems that you do not know anything only to drive, And in this hell hole you call there are better ludes that the piece of crap that you have and in this hell hole lives real RACERS NOT RICERS LIKE YOU SO DONT KEEP TALKING SHIT AND START TO LEARN MORE ABOUT CARS ''GRAN TURISMO FUCK'' \. get to reality. and P.R. will kick the heel out of americans when it comes to racing. EVERYTIME. DUMB FUCK!!.

I understand theres a weight difference, but the power to weight ratio favors the prelude by far. I don't know what makes "the street" any different then a track, or how it will make your car any faster. As a matter of fact I would do better on a roll, my only problem at the track is hooking up off the line. I'm not taking my car to that hell hole to beat you in a race, I have better ways to spend my time I don't really care if you can't accept reality either. I just wanted to present the facts.
-
first of all the one that needs to shut the fuck up is you second you'll need to get to reality and im not talking bullshit like you third 45 -60 hp doesn't make a real difference when you talk about the weight the preludes are a lot heavier than a b13 se-r or a b14 se-r like a said not everything is about hp and also dont talk about times if you want times get a clock bitch on the street is not the same as the track. bring that piece of shit you call a car to P.R. andyou'llseewhoisthecurseone.

theres no way your stock sr20de 200sx runs anything lower then 15's. You can't be serious man...a h22 prelude is faster then a sr20de 200sx (or sentra se-r with a sr20de). Since you don't believe my times (I'll provide you with a timeslip, and coming this spring a video) why don't you show me what some stock sr20de powered cars are running, and I'll show you what stock preludes are running. I like to use facts, you like to use curse words. Provide some factual information or shut the fuck up
yup, i raced one of these hondas in my spec and dusted him......easily.

I'm sure your car isn't stock then, cause mine was just basic bolt on's and theres no doubt that there faster... They make more power anyway

spec v handles better, ive driven both to the limit. rear end is twitchy is the prelude.
stevoreno 2 years ago
I actually disagree with you on that... My Spec handled like balls, Even after I put my coilovers and rims I think it still isn't that great. The Prelude I raced in this video performed alot better than my car

What in the hell is mattfra1 talking about....a prelude sh is not faster than a spec-v stock for stock, stop reading magazines that give the spec its glory...mine is stock but a drop in k&n and a aem SRI mid pipe, and i OWN a prelude stock!

actually, the prelude is fast if both cars are in stock form.. I raced that same prelude that same day one the highway from a 60 roll and he pulled me the second the horn honked... preludes have alot more top end than Spec V do... the acceleration thing, I think he miss shifted in this race
