Here's part 2 of the video. I left only the important things about doing a Sudoku. This video is not about speed or how fast I can finish a puzzle. It's simply to show easy tricks and strategies to do a very difficult puzzle. Best to watch in High Quality!

  • haha wow iv been wit dis sudoku on medium and got stuck ! thx 4 the video;)

  • @supersfm yay i'm glad i helped! you're welcome!

  • hey ! great video, this really helped me for a tip or two to get through my master puzzles. :)

just a thought, for your number notes, perhaps a pencil with an eraser so you don't get so many scribbles and checks everywhere. it makes your puzzle look all messy and ugly when it's so beautiful !! hahaha <3

  • @rwxox lol. yea it's funny when people say sudokus are beautiful and scribbles are ugly. i don't always make notes for myself, but definitely for the vid. it's personal preference in the eye of the beholder i suppose ;) but thanks for the feedback.

  • Using pencil marks to record candidates should really be a LAST remedy in solving VERY difficult Sudokus.

The basic rules of Sudoku demand ONE (and ONLY ONE) value in each cell, by reason and logic.

This puzzle can be solved and explained by pure reasoning without any 'reminders'.

R7C4=7 is a reasonable first step, since 7 and 8 must be in the middle box, row 4.

This will open the path for a quick solution:

R7C3=6 leads to R2C8=2, the rest are basically singles.

    It IS a NICE puzzle!

  • @88BlueKeys4U wow, well yes i agree with you. i used notes for people less advanced. this isn't a video to see how well I can do a puzzle, it is merely an aid to people who need more explanation. and for those who may not understand sudoku jargon, R7C4=7 means the box at row 7 and column 4 would be the number 7. thanks for your input! all helpful comments welcomed.
