This song is from the 'Eat a Peach" album and the first song the band did without Duane Allman, who died four months before it was released. The lyrics: "Crossroads, will you ever let him go" is perhaps a reference to Robert Johnson, blues guitarist, who went to a crossroad and solded his soul to the devil.

  • @jdunphy I am heartfully sorry for your loss. I must add that you should count yourself among the most fortunate; to have shared 22 (+) years of your life with a "partner", what a beautiful , beautiful thing. I know you will cherish that as you should.

  • Hi, I'm Melissa, nice to meet you :D
