It took nearly 62 hours of waiting. But queueing fans today finally managed to get their hands on the last remaining tickets for Pompey's semi-final clash.
Brenda Heywood, along with husband Nick, was the first in the queue outside Fratton Park at 7.30pm on Sunday.
And this morning -- three days after first setting up camp -- she managed to claim her prize and will soon be off to Wembley.
She was handed a voucher by Pompey stewards last night confirming she was number one in the queue.
Mrs Heywood, 46, from St Johns Close, Hayling Island said: 'It's been cold and wet but it will just be nice to get home with my tickets.
'I might frame them for a couple of days.
'I'm now going to go home and catch up on my sleep.'
Her brother-in-law, season ticket holder Paul Heywood, 59, from Eastleigh, added: 'There's been some sort of natural bonding here.
'Lots of telephone numbers have been exchanged but my brother deserves the credit because he's done the marathon.'
The last of the semi-final tickets finally sold out at 12.10pm today, leaving fans who joined the huge queue near Fratton Park today disappointed.
There are now no more of the prized tickets left to go on general sale.
Pompey chief executive Peter Storrie visited the hundreds of fans last night and this morning to see how the queue was forming.
He said he was stunned so many had camped out overnight.
'I was he
re talking to fans last night. It's fantastic, it's the start of the atmosphere,' he said. 'A lot of people have been here since Sunday, but I never thought it would start that early.
The whole thing has created a great atmosphere.
'It proves the huge fan base we have here because we could have sold 50,000 tickets.'
Staff at Fratton Park did a head count this morning and said up to 900 tickets had been allocated to the queueing fans.
With 1,180 available, this meant some Pompey fans could still turn up late and get their hands on tickets.
Pompey fanatic Luwis Lancaster, 27, of Milton Moorings, said: 'The spirits have well and truly been raised today.
'We are at the final hurdle and I have been told I am 207th in the queue so I will definitely get a ticket which is great.
'When we got the official confirmation the atmosphere lifted, it made all the difference.'
Their not camping....thats actually their homes. At 0.34.....Stick together....with Man Fat you grubby queers.

I have followed Pompey on the radio since 1993 and got a ticket through my mate and the Aussie supporters club(I remeber our team that contained Guy Butters, Lee Russell, Ray Daniel, Paul Hall etc). I have lived in Australia since 1986 and my dads a Spurs fan but I told him all those years ago I was a fan of the nearest professional club to where I'm from, and have spent every Saturday since trying to find out how he have done even when our crowds averaged 8,000 in the mid 90's. PLAY UP POMPEY!
