RC Hot Air Balloon at the Memphis Comic and Fantasy Con Nov.6th, 2010

I WANT ONE! Created by Randy Kilgore. (BTW: The guy walking through the door is author, Allan Gilbreath). This is just one of the beautiful RC models presented at The Memphis Comic and Fantasy Convention. "Steam Punk" is one of the featured themes of this con, which also featured new fantasy and sci-fi authors, steam-punk themed films, panel interviews with authors, directors actors and re-enactors. It was a real priviledge to meet the authors in person, have great discussions and walk away with an arm-load of autographed first editions. There were also actors from television, stage and screen including beautiful Denise Crosby, and WWW's Jerry "The King" Lawler ( One Hunky Dude!) The vintage circa mid-1800s costumes and gadgetry were amazing. Steam Punk is based on the works of great 19th century writers, including H.G. Wells and Jules Verne.
