Well, 1 thing i do is when i got caught killing someone, i'll just use the lose wanted stars cheat. an Alternate way so you wont block any achievements is just keep running around and they'll soon give up! it'll just work fine except if you got more than one star that is. :)

The knife is unnecessary also it'll not somehow trigger the glitch and its just more quieter & easier.(But it is highly recommended! just in case if something went wrong)

Don't use cheats below if you don't want the achievements to be locked. (only Vehicle cheats will not block the achievements) more cheats on my other video.

Go to an ATM, then cause a traffic jam to the area. Wait for someone to take money from the ATM, then kill him or her. Make sure to block any nearby roads so the ambulance cannot get to the murdered victim. Take the money they dropped on the ground. Then, run a short distance away, and go back. The money should have respawned on the ground. You can repeat this as many times as desired. You can also kill more people taking their money from the ATM to increase the amount of money that respawns. -From: Khairol161

Call GUN-555-0150 or 486-555-0150

Notes*:To set up a traffic jam, you need to park your car at any road that you want to cause the jam, preferably nearest to the ATM machine it will be the best, next you need to wait for upcoming vehicles to stop that was stopped by your car, then push their cars by pressing the 'B' button to force the driver out of the car, they tend to fight you than run, keep doing this to empty any vehicles passing by, also be cautious of policemen nearby as fighting will cause arrest, ending to all hard work. Call 267-555-0100 or COP-555-0100
to lose wanted stars.

A3:NO, The glitch will NOT block any achievements whatsoever but if you use cheats above(COP-555-0100, etc) via calling, it'll block some achievements.

Affects on using Cheats

Affect: Full health and armor

Dial "362-555-0100" on the cell phone. If you enter this code while in a vehicle, it will also repair it. Note: This phone number translates to "DOC-555-0100".

Side-affects:
"Cleaned The Mean Streets", "Finish Him", "One Man Army", and "Walk Free" achievements blocked.

Affects: Weapons tier 2(knife included)

Dial "486-555-0150" on the cell phone. This will unlock the "KNIFE", Molotov cocktails, handgun, shotgun, Uzi, AK47, sniper rifle, and RPG. Note: This phone number translates to "GUN-555-0100".

Side-affects:
"Cleaned The Mean Streets" achievement blocked.

Affects: Remove Niko's wanted level

Dial "2675550100" on the cell phone. Note: This phone number translates to "COP-555-0100".

Side-affects: "One Man Army" and "Walk Free" achievements blocked.

If you already have the achievements you dont have to worry about using the cheats. Before using cheats i suggest you to be sure to get the achievements first.

Here's a suggestion to make sure you don't block you're achievements:

1. Go to the link I gave you above, check which cheat will block which achievements. For example if you want to use "Remove Wanted Stars" cheat you check which achievement will be blocked and you can see it is the "One Man Army" and "Walk Free" achievements. Follow the link above for more info.

2. I suggest Get the achievements first then use the cheats. Cheats will not block the achievements that you achieved. Except if you use cheats before achieving the achievements, your achievements will be unachievable. I suggest back-up a save. The word achieve is kinda making me dizzy right now... lol ok bye .. this was my answer to someone that asked me recently thought it would be a good suggestion. lol
