Did you get paid by the manufacturer to give out this information to destroy all the pressure cleaners started and run without water so they can sell new ones ?
never start a pressure washer without the water on or you will melt the valves in the pump and if using washer from a bowser(tank) always use a filter on the inlet hose
that can burn out the connecting wire and you can be losing power because the spark plug is used the whole time the engine is running not just during start up. you should exactly what not to do.
the very last thing you want to do is run a pressure washer with the water off. it ruins the pump. you have to turn the water on and then spurge the pressure washer of air by running water through it with the engine off then start it. and you can check the oil by just taking the dip stick out. you read nothing. all you saw was that there was acutally oil in the crank case which is obviuos. you didnt check what the amount was. you didnt check the electrode gap on the spark plug.
this guy should not be doing any how to videos. The engine is air cooled, water does not cool the engine, The water cools and lubricates the pump.
